Shipping and Mail Services

Here at You Send Me we pride ourselves on being your one stop shop for all your mailing needs. Not only do we offer mailboxes from our location we also receive your mail and provide mail forwarding. Don’t waste your time waiting in line at the post office when you can easily come to us. Our mail services include:

First Class mail is sorted by 4:00 p.m., six days a week.

Get our Free text or email package notifications for all boxholders.We use Smart Alert to send text messages or emails in live-time throughout the day to give you instant notification of packages delivered to your mailbox.

It is against the Post Office rules to use the words “Post Office Box” or “P.O. Box” in your address unless your box is at the Post Office. Post Office sorters may associate “box” with a Post Office box, and ignore our street address, misdirecting and delaying your mail.

Also be sure that we have all the names (5 maximum) for each individual receiving mail at your mailbox. The Post Office and California State Law now require each individual receiving mail through an agent to be properly registered with that agent. Mail for unregistered receivers is required to be returned to sender.

Encourage your correspondents to remember to include your box number as part of your address here. Please pick up your mail regularly. A surcharge of $5 - $20 / week will be added for large amounts of overflow mail held outside your mailbox over two weeks.

SET-UP CHARGE
There is a one-time, $20.00 refundable deposit to open a mailbox. Boxholders opening for only one month will be charged a $9.00 non-refundable set-up fee.

RECEIVING FAXES WITH MAILBOX RENTAL
Incoming faxes up to 10 pages each will be put into your mailbox at no extra charge. Your incoming faxes must identify you by your mailbox number.

MAIL FORWARDING SERVICE
You Send Me will forward mail to another location, domestic or international, up to two times / week, at our normal mail rates. A deposit is necessary to cover envelopes and mailing charges.

Forwarding can be started or ended at any time by mail, e-mail or telephone with the box signer’s signature or password. Note: We will not make any service changes without the box signer’s signature or a password previously on file.

RENEWALS
Please renew your mailbox rental before it is due. A $10.00 late fee will be charged for renewals on the 10th day. You may renew your mailbox in person, by check mailed to You Send Me, or by dropping your check through the slot in the employee door at night. The check should be made out to You Send Me. We reserve the right to re-rent a mailbox on the 11th day rent is overdue. First class mail will be returned to sender 15 days after box rent is overdue.

CANCELLING SERVICE
The Post Office will not forward from a private mail receiving business, and renters who wish to cancel service need to notify correspondents directly that their address has been changed. Any forwarding of mail must be done from an active mailbox. A deposit is paid to post the mail you select by the written request form. Any first class mail received after a mailbox is closed will be “returned to sender, not at this address”. Bulk and standard are destroyed.

REFUNDS
Refunds for box rental are issued for whole months only. Mailboxes closed without all outstanding keys returned will be charged a $20.00 lock change fee.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We will not give out any information about mail receiving service clients, except to confirm that a name inquired about is a current customer of ours or information which may be required to give by law, or under the United States Postal Service rules, unless we receive a request in writing with the signature on our rental application to provide specific information to a specific party upon request. We are authorized by the United States Post Office to be mail receiving agents, and the mail in our possession is protected by federal law. We are also fully insured for property damage, theft and other liabilities.

You may pre-arrange a 5 dollar one-time package delivery to our office if you will pick it up before 6:30pm on the arrival date. If it stays overnight for any reason the fee is $10.00-$20.00 depending on its size and weight.
